The Technical Project Administrator’s objective is to ensure design and/or field projects are cohesively run & delivered on time. The Project Administrator works closely with project teams to support delivery activities. The Project Administrator will monitor & maintain project plans & schedules, collaborating internally to meet identified milestones.

The responsibility of the employee includes but is not limited to the listed items below. There may be circumstances in which you are required to take on additional duties.

Internal Coordination

− Organize, schedule & maintain tracking of all active projects

− Understand required scope to coordinate milestone deliverables with Supervisors & Design Technicians

− Keep updated on all activities to ensure that scope is achieved

− Attend meetings as necessary; document & follow up on next actions

− Maintain clear, open communication with Design Technicians & relevant Supervisors

− Identify permitting requirements & compile proper documentation (drawings, completed application forms) − Collaborate (with Supervisors & Design Technicians) to obtain required permits/consent, including municipal consent, CP/CN Rail & Conservation Authorities 

− Scheduling & resource allocation

− Data entry

Project Tracking, Organizing, Reporting

− Maintain thorough documentation (files, correspondence) on active & completed projects, including client submissions

− Manage client inquiries to ensure prompt response

− Monitor project progress & advise on deadline
