Are you passionate about shaping the future of our little ones? Do you have a knack for turning everyday moments into unforgettable learning experiences? Mahmowenchike Family Development Centre is on the lookout for a vibrant and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team!

At Mahmowenchike, we believe in the power of early childhood education to ignite curiosityinspire creativity, and nurture a lifelong love for learning. Nestled in the heart of our community, our centre is a place where children flourish in a supportive and inclusive environment, guided by caring professionals like you!

We currently have three locations in Thunder Bay, Ontario: St. Vincent school (150 Redwood Avenue West - offers infant through school age programming), St. Ann school (1130 Georgina Avenue - offers toddler through school age programming) and St. Elizabeth school (735 Selkirk Street - offers before and after school care only). We work as a cohesive team which means supporting each other and supporting our centres to be the best that we can be.

This position would work Monday through Friday at 8 hours per day within our hours of operation (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) and shifts are determined in repsonse to the care needs of our programs. The location of this role would be dependent on staffing needs and could be at any of our locations, but will be determined prior to hiring. Educators are hired for the organization, not a specific location, however, we do try to accommodate the needs of staff within reason.
