Duties:

- Assure the safe operation of the surface diamond drill by performing pre-checks and Safety inspections.

- Work with the drilling helper to achieve client and Missinaibi Drilling daily targets.

- Be a good mentor to new and inexperienced workers.

- Be adept at mobilization and demobilization of the drill.

- Maintain drill site, work area and equipment.

- Be proficient in completing required daily documentation.

Qualifications:

- Must have Ministry of Labour Common Core transcripts for Surface Driller.

- Have a valid driver’s licence and a current First Aid Certificate.

- Be able to pass a “Drug or Alcohol” test.

- Mechanically inclined.

- Physically fit.

- Willing to travel.

- Be proactive and Safety minded.

- Must be able to perform physically demanding work, often long hours.

- Be capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

- Able to work in a remote and isolated environment.

- Able to make decisions based on skill, experience, and expertise.
