ParaMed PSWs provide individualized care that is sensitive to clients’ unique needs, providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) through a client specific assignment working under the direction of and in collaboration with a regulated health care professional. PSW care takes place within the community and requires travel to client residences.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

PSW Position-Diploma or Certificate from a PSW course recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development or equivalent education OR Foreign Trained Doctor or Nurse OR Nursing students in their current year of studies

Experience working with acutely ill, chronically ill, or palliative clients is considered a strong asset

Willingness to travel to and from client residences within a designated area is required
